Helloooo, Victoria!

Tell us - How did you start with your jewelry brand, VenusWears?

I've always wanted to start a jewelry brand. It started with subscription jewelry boxes, and that never worked out. Then, one day I was about to buy a phone charm from Etsy when I thought, I'll just make one myself! After making one I was hooked. At that moment, I turned from a consumer to a creator. I laid out a plan and executed it.

Awesome - it's always good to have a strategic plan for your business!

Can you share with us your inspirations along the way?

Bella Hadid is a big fashion inspiration for me. I love how her stylist incorporates classy with casual and adding fun in her outfits daily. Likewise, Dua Lipa's stylist Lorenzo Posocco is someone who inspires me. The way he puts outfits together is art. Every outfit she wears is off the charts cool. A smaller brand that really inspired me to believe in myself is Isabella Vrana on Depop.

What do you love about building your fashion brand?

VenusWears is also on Depop and actually started on there. I fell in love with the feedback I get on the looks I create and the creativeness that goes into my brand. Shipping something out that I picked out or made to someone is the best feeling ever.

COOL!

So tell us - Why are you excited for a Show on Galaxy?

Livestreaming has come of interest to me recently. I love how you can connect with people in a more real way. On live stream, you can answer questions and tell your story. I want people to come on there and relate to me! I want to bring personal advice to people that need it, along with fashion tips. I want to come off as a bestie for people, not just beads or clothing.

Any tips for someone just getting started?

For someone just getting started I would tell them to really think of what aesthetic would work and honestly trail and error!

Any other fun stories about you?

I moved to Los Angeles when I was 19 with $200 in my bank account and figured it out from there! I love just trying new things and being fearless about it. If things fail you can always do something else! I will be telling all my stories about VenusWears on livestream ;)

We're also looking forward to having you on Galaxy!

Thanks for sharing, Victoria!

see you soon  ;)
